Feedback is the lifeblood for developers to prioritize fixes and updates. However, the more reviews your app receives, the harder it becomes to manage. To sustain quality engagement, you need to identify trends and manage the community at scale.
We’re introducing a variety of user review features to help you connect with your community. The first is Tagging. When reading a review, you’ll now be able to add a tag. We’ve provided a few tags to get you started, but you can also create your own.
Beyond acting as a quick identifier, you can filter the reviews by tags, see a bar chart of the most frequent tags, or parse them yourself after downloading a CSV. Our hope is that this will help your teams prioritize the most impactful feedback from one version to the next.
We’ve also made a few tweaks to the user review modal. The copy button will allow you to quickly transfer information from the dashboard to your internal ticketing system.
We’ve also added a “Previous/Next” button to help you quickly read through multiple reviews. For instance, you can filter to 1* reviews with the “Crash” tag and click through those reviews to quickly let your users know that you fixed a bug.
Finally, we added some additional charts to make it easy to track your app’s rating over time.
We’re excited to help you deepen engagement with your users. We have a lot more planned to help you grow your apps, so stay tuned! If you have questions or feedback, let us know in the comments below or in the Developer Forums.
