There’s never been a better time to create for VR, and today, we’re inviting you to join the VR developer community at Oculus Connect, October 11-12 in San Jose, Calif. Applications to attend OC4 are now open!
Indie favorites like Augmented Empire and Gunheart to AAA games like Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Robo Recall, and Echo Arena have established VR as gaming’s next frontier, while interactive films like Step to the Line and Zero Days VR plus cutting-edge artistic tools like Medium and Quill showcase the power of VR to tell meaningful stories and make a positive impact on the world. As more people dive into VR, developers are finding a growing and increasingly engaged audience.
OC4 attendees will get an inside look at what’s new across the VR industry and what we’re building next, including exclusive, never-before-seen VR demos. You’ll hear directly from Oculus hardware, software, and product engineering teams—including everyone’s favorite unscripted keynote and live VR app reviews from John Carmack.
We’re bringing together creators from across the worlds of gaming, interactive entertainment, film, art, and education for more than 30 sessions, from lectures and lightning talks to panels across four content tracks:
We heard your feedback and are building an improved program with more technical sessions and opportunities to connect one-on-one with Oculus Developer Support during open office hours (more information to come).
Visit the OC4 website to submit your application today. The deadline to apply is August 11. We’ll send acceptance notifications, along with instructions for registration, on a rolling basis beginning early August.
Regular conference passes are $399, with early bird, academic, and developer discounts available. Click here for more information on pricing and discount qualifications.
We’ll share more details and the full conference schedule next month—stay tuned!
