Oculus Quest Development

All Oculus Quest developers MUST PASS the concept review prior to gaining publishing access to the Quest Store and additional resources. Submit a concept document for review as early in your Quest application development cycle as possible. The app must not synchronize animation or physics to an assumed 90Hz (Rift) or 80Hz (Rift S) frame rate.

Additional Details

Animations and physics synced to a fixed frame rate go out of sync when your app drops frames or when Asynchronous SpaceWarp (ASW) is active.

Steps to Test

  1. Observe animation.
  2. Use the Oculus Debug Tool to select Force 45 (Rift) or 40fps (Rift S), ASW disabled.
  3. Observe animation.

Expected Result

Animations should continue to play at normal speed.
