The Oculus Avatar SDK assists developers with implementing social and hand presence for supported Oculus devices, which are Oculus Quest, Oculus Go, Oculus Rift S, and Oculus Rift. With the Avatar SDK, developers can bring the avatar appearance users create in Oculus Home into their own apps and make them viewable by other users. Avatars also include hand presence for Touch, letting you integrate Touch interaction into apps and games.
This download includes native C/C++ support for development of Oculus Quest, Oculus Go, Oculus Rift S, and Oculus Rift applications.
Note: Developers working on Unity and Unreal Engine apps do not require this download because the Avatar SDK components are already included in the Unity Integration and Unreal Engine 4 Integration. Use the appropriate engine integration if you wish to add avatars to your apps or games.
